For work or studies, I might be online for extended periods. Even during my leisure time, I check social media news or browse interesting websites.   Examiner: What do you use the Internet for most? Candidate: There are many ways I utilize the Internet. It’s a valuable tool for communication, allowing me to connect with friends and family through email, messaging apps, or even video calls. Additionally, it’s an incredible source of information, providing access to news articles, educational resources, and countless websites on any topic imaginable.   Examiner: Do you prefer to use the Internet on your phone or computer? Candidate: Both devices have their advantages. While my phone is convenient for quick online checks or social media browsing, my computer offers a larger screen and better typing capabilities, which is more suitable for extensive research or detailed work.   Examiner: Do you think the Internet has a positive or negative impact on society? Candidate: The Internet’s impact is multifaceted. Undoubtedly, it has revolutionized communication, learning, and access to information. However, concerns exist around online privacy, the spread of misinformation, and the potential for addiction.   Examiner: Have you ever bought anything online? Candidate: Yes, online shopping has become very convenient. I often purchase books, electronics, and clothing from the comfort of my home. The Internet provides a broader selection and frequently competitive prices compared to traditional stores.   Examiner: Have you ever learned a new skill online? Candidate: The Internet is a fantastic platform for learning! I’ve used online resources like tutorials, courses, and educational websites to develop coding and graphic design skills. Candidate: Ideally, everyone should have access to the Internet. It can be a robust education, communication, and economic development tool. However, bridging the digital divide requires addressing infrastructure limitations and affordability.   Examiner: Do you think social media can negatively influence young people? Candidate: Social media can positively and negatively impact young people. While it allows for connection and self-expression, it can also lead to feelings of inadequacy, cyberbullying, or exposure to inappropriate content. Parental guidance and fostering critical thinking skills are crucial for young people to navigate social media responsibly.   Examiner: Do you think online learning can be just as effective as traditional classroom learning? Candidate: Online learning offers flexibility and can cater to different learning styles. However, it might lack traditional classrooms’ interactive elements and social interaction. The effectiveness likely depends on the individual learner, the specific subject matter, and the quality of the online program. Combining some online elements with in-person classes, a blended approach might be optimal for some situations.   Examiner: Do you think online shopping threatens traditional brick-and-mortar stores? Candidate: Online shopping has undoubtedly impacted traditional stores. However, many businesses have adapted by offering online options alongside physical stores. The convenience of online shopping is a factor. However, some people still prefer the in-person experience provided by physical stores. The future retail landscape might see a mix of both online and offline shopping options.   Examiner: Do you think being responsible when using the Internet is important? Candidate: Absolutely!
