One of the most memorable letters I’ve ever received was from my primary school teacher, Mrs. D’Souza. I got it when I graduated from high school and was preparing to enter college. She had heard the news through my parents and decided to send me a handwritten letter.
The letter was filled with kind words, encouragement, and fond memories from my childhood. She reminded me of how I used to be shy in class, but I gradually opened up during storytelling sessions. She said she always believed I would do well in life, and she was proud of my progress.
This letter is very important to me because it felt personal and heartfelt. In an age of emails and messages, receiving a handwritten note made me feel truly special. I still keep it in a small wooden box with other mementoes.
