🗣️ Sample Answer
Examiner: You have one to two minutes. Please start speaking now.
Candidate (Rahul Desai):
One person I truly enjoy working and studying with is Vijay P, a classmate from my BCA program. We started working together in our second semester when we were grouped for a database project. That was the beginning of a strong academic partnership.
Vijay is highly organised and a great problem-solver. Whenever we study or work on assignments together, he makes sure we divide the work efficiently and follow deadlines. We usually meet at the college library or online through Zoom to discuss ideas, share research, and solve coding problems.
What I really admire about Vijay is his positive attitude. Even when the project becomes challenging or we encounter technical issues, he remains calm and focused. I’ve learned a lot from him—especially how to approach a problem methodically and manage time effectively.
He is particular because he always strives for quality and perfection without being overly demanding. His dedication has not only helped us get good grades but also made the process enjoyable.
Examiner: Thank you. Why do you think he stands out from others?
Candidate: Because he combines intelligence with humility. It’s rare to find someone who is both brilliant and easy to work with.
🔁 Part 3: Follow-Up Questions
❓ Q1. Do you prefer to work alone or with a partner?
A: It depends on the task. For creative work or writing, I prefer to work alone. But for brainstorming or problem-solving, working with a partner adds more value.
❓ Q2. What do you think of teamwork and team spirit?
A: Teamwork is essential in today’s world. It improves creativity, distributes workload, and helps develop interpersonal skills. A strong team spirit leads to better results.
❓ Q3. What kind of people are good to work with?
A: People who are honest, dependable, cooperative, and open to others’ opinions are the best to work with. They create a productive and stress-free environment.
❓ Q4. Do you like group work or group learning?
A: Yes, especially when the group is well-organised. Group learning can enhance understanding through discussion, but everyone must contribute equally to the discussion.
❓ Q5. What is your opinion on efficiency?
A: Efficiency means achieving goals with minimum wasted effort or resources. It’s a key factor in both work and studies, and it often depends on planning and discipline.
❓ Q6. What are the advantages of studying by yourself?
A: Studying alone allows you to go at your own pace, focus deeply, and avoid distractions. It’s ideal for personal reflection and strengthening weaker areas.
