One of my all-time favourite books is “The 4-Hour Workweek” by Tim Ferriss. I usually enjoy reading self-help and productivity books, especially those that provide practical tools to improve personal and professional life.

I came across this book about two years ago, during the COVID-19 lockdown, when I was looking for ways to be more efficient and explore remote work options. The book discusses how to escape the traditional 9-to-5 job, automate your income, and create a lifestyle that offers more freedom.

What I like most about it is that it challenges the way we think about work. Instead of waiting until retirement to enjoy life, the author suggests creating “mini-retirements” and optimising your schedule to enjoy more free time now. It also includes case studies, tips on outsourcing, and time-management techniques, such as the 80/20 rule.

Reading this book opened my mind to digital entrepreneurship and passive income. I now work remotely, and the book gave me the confidence to step away from the usual path and live more intentionally.
